How An Effective Loyalty Program Software Can Help Your Brand Retain Customers

by NeuroTagsAugust 30, 2021no comment
Loyalty Program

There is nothing like the adrenaline rush of winning new business from an existing customer. This is why customer loyalty program software is successful in retaining existing and winning new customers.

Yes, acquisition can also be a secret result of loyalty program. If your customers are ready to spend more to onboard a loyalty program, why will they not be excited to talk about it with others! The art of having loyal customers like your best publicists has rarely failed brands.

According to research, an e-commerce customer who has purchased your product once is three times more likely than a new customer to buy again. And a customer who has purchased your product a couple of times is five times more likely than relatively new customers to repurchase your product.

If you have recently considered using a loyalty program software, you might think it takes a lot of effort to design one with specific slabs, but the good news is that you can have individual benefits or gestures. The idea is to delight the customers so that they find additional value in purchasing your product again. So, you need not have a complex structure to implement a customer loyalty program.

We have enlisted a few examples for you to get an idea from brands implementing innovative customer loyalty programs:

Reebok- Reebok focuses on experiences more than monetary benefits, which cost lesser than a gift-based reward. For example, members gain points for every transaction that accumulates to increase the reward value. These reward points can be used for training and wellness programs, VIP experiences, or even partner events.

IKEA- IKEA’s family reward program welcomes you with a complimentary hot beverage, a thank you surprise, and a discounted price on select items. If a customer purchases a ready-to-assemble product, a part of which accidentally breaks while assembling, IKEA exchanges it at no extra cost.

DSW– DSW VIP is a point-based customer loyalty program that provides free shipping on every purchase, points for donating gently used shoes to someone in need, and buying online and picking up the product from the store. The three-tier program offers more points on more spending.

Baskin Robbins- BR gives a free scoop of ice cream for signing up for their loyalty program software. They are mobile-friendly, and customers can make mobile payments view the latest dessert flavors, and order customized ice cream cakes.

Nordstrom- The Nord Club offers its members various benefits. These include double point days, an in-home stylist, entry to special events, curbside pickup, and more under their customer loyalty program.

Bed, Bath & Beyond- The membership fee for Beyond+ members is $29 a year, for which they avail 20% off on all purchases for the year, free shipping, and a 50% discount on design services.

Advance Auto Parts- Speed Perks, their point-based customer loyalty program, offers a VIP storefront parking spot to top loyalty members. They get product samples, exclusive event invitations, and 10 points for every dollar spent.

PetSmart- PetSmart Treat Members receive a surprise on their pet’s birthday. They can even earn points on purchases and services such as grooming, training, and donating to PetSmart charities.

Target- Regular Target shoppers get 5% off on every purchase with the Red Card, including in-store Starbucks preparations. They also come up with exclusive offers, free two-day shipping, and an extra 30 days to return or exchange items under their customer loyalty program.

Office Depot- Office Depot members get 2% back as a reward on several items. They also get benefits for giving online reviews and recycling products, in addition to special in-store offers.

Walgreens- Walgreens mobile app members can refill prescriptions, clip coupons, track rewards, live video chat with a doctor. This app also collects reward points with Apple Pay or Google wallet to pay at checkout.

Kroger– Under the customer loyalty program of Kroger, members can collect digital coupons on the mobile app for the Shoppers’ Card. This gives the customers exclusive savings, promotions, personalized offers, bonuses, and points to redeem for the future. The mobile app even displays the aisle location of their favorite product.

Now you may have some ideas that fit your brand’s customer loyalty program.

An important tip: Keep your frontline employees happy so they keep your customers happy. For everything else, Neurotags can optimize your loyalty program software keeping your target market, brand image, and budget in mind.
